I'm trying to delete my entire Phonebook (from a phone I recently bought) and can't find a way..  I tried switching from common to personal to common but that doesn't do anything to any lists, including the address book..  Does anyone know how to do it?

Also trying to delete the caller ID and Redial lists, but there is no Delete Lists in my main menu..

Also, how does one pick up a call waiting call when it comes in?

If it's a Mk1, then to:

- Reset base: Press (dot) 7 000 8

- Reset handset: Press (dot) 7 000 9

For call-waiting, turn the wheel until EXT HOLD & SHIFT is displayed, then press OK

And Welcome to Beoworld!

If your Beocom 6000 has a DOT on the button at the 9 o'clock position of the volume wheel then it is a Mark 1

If the button has INT on the button then it is a Mark 2

Regards Keith....

I tried to reset the handset by hitting dot 7 000 9..  After that, the phone read "NOT REGISTERED"..  I tried everything to register the base and nothing works..  When I'm at handset/base in the menu, I get messages from searching for base, out of range, not registered, updating phone book, caller ID and Redial..  There's no dial tone..  I've even unplugged the base and plugged it in again..  The light on the base is still green..  I've done all this with the phone in the base, and I'm completely stuck..  Can you help me get re-registered?  I do have the MK 1..

Which base do you have?  If it's the pyramid one you have to make the base ready for registration by pressing the button between the charging contacts (for a few seconds until the indicator light starts flashing red).  Then the handset should be able to find it on a search.

Pressing that button worked like magic and the phone is now registered.  Thank you very very much!

Now, how would you suggest I erase all the entries in the phonebook (there are more than 150, so erasing each one is too time consuming..  Also my settings menu in the MK 1 does not give me the option to delete caller ID and redial lists (so I could probably delete each one separately since there aren't a huge number of them)

Have you tried resetting the base?

It's in my earlier post: Press (dot) 7 000 8

I think the base will then reset to a default PIN of '0000' which you may then need to re-register the phone.
