Thanks Graham, it was not that difficult but unfortunately it has a tiny piece of veneer missing at one side so let's see how I can solve that.

Very cool.  Don't think I've ever seen that BC - even in the Jarman book.

Is it? Because of the small missing piece veneer at the right side of the BC1101 and the fact that BC1101 en BM 901 have different types of veneer I think I'm gonna make them both white.

I've often thought about refinishing my teak BM1200 in white. The bottom rear corners where there seems to be nothing backing the veneer have become damaged at some time in the past and it would probably be easier to do a resin corner repair and refinish the whole thing than to try to redo the veneers.

Yes, if more veneer is missing it is always a good solution. Somethink like this:

One Beocord 1101... ?
Only one, Leslie ?  Laughing

Nice job on the cleaning.

Both Beomaster 1200, Beomaster 901 and Beocord 1101 exists in original white.
And so does the matching speakers Beovox 901 (and slightly larger 1001).
I have them all.
Beomaster 1200 is not uncommon to find in white, whereas Beomaster 901 and Beocord 1101
seems to be a very limited production.

Don't tempt me Martin, before you know I will have more of these. Whistle

These units are thankful objects to make them as new again so fun time work in the garden.

The veneer is beautiful and I'm still not sure to make them white although the picture the_o_master showed us is quite stunning.

Have to think about that before making a drastic decision...

Hello Martin, iam about to purchase a Beomaster 901 in white color on DBA.com. "Not sure if the owner painted it or not", is there a special serial number for this kind of white color finish? Cheers, Stephane.

Not a certain serialnumber range, but other things on the serialnumber label will tell.
Show me the serialnumber label and I’ll tell you if it’s original white.
If it's the one, I think it is, it's homepainted. As is the turntable etc.

The serialnumber itself won't tell anything.
It's other things on the label, so I need to see a photo of the label and/or the back of the Beomaster.
