Hi there,

I got this old Beolit 562H532.

It is in good visual shape but the handle is missing a screw.

Someone's been trying to repair it before me so it is not working but all parts are included. It needs to be assembled and recapped.

I would like to know if this item is of any real value or just "nice to have". See pictures below.

Kind Regards,

Christian Leicht

Hello!

At antique shops in DK they are for sale at 1000 + DKK, ... in working order.

Best regards, Hans

And I just got hold of one like it Big Smile.

It is in general good working order, except the LW band does not work, but that ought to be simple to fix. And maybe et needs a couple of new capacitors, just for perfection. Also, the battery box has one spring missing and some others badly corroded (leaking batteries Crying ), but I have installed a clip for a 9 volt battery. Saves you buying 150,- dkk worth of D batteries,  and as the radio draws less than 20 mA, a modern 9 volt battery will last adequately.

I also have a 562 H 535 model. It has an extra SW band and the tone switch is a pull switch in the volume pot.

Best regards, Hans
