Hi,

I'm fully satisfied Beovision 11 user. Unfortunately TV set doesn't have HDD recording installed.

I'm considering buying HDR2 - HDD recorder.

Is there any catch in connecting HDR2 to TV unit or just "plug&play" ?

thx

I wonder if it’s worth the money...

Think there is only scart connection on that hdr2, so you need a scart to hdmi converter.

So the quality of the recording will not be good.

Better to look for streaming services.

+1.  Also HDR2 relies upon a SCART connection to provide remote control via the TV.  As the BV11 has no SCART, you will not be able to control the HDR2 via the Beo4 remote, if at all.

THX - I did a bit of checking and realized there really is only SCART  connection but even worse there’s no chance to tune into DVB-T so it’s out of the question .....
