Hello
I need to move my beovision 7 55 and I lack of space in my car. I need to load speakers.
According to you what is the weight the front glass panel can supported ?
It is apparently a 4 mm glass.
thanks

4 beolab 5, beolab 9, beolab 10, beolab 5000, beolab 8000 mk2, beolab 6002, beolab 3500, beovision 7 55 mk2, 2 beovision 11 46 mk4, beotime, beosound ouverture, beosound essence, beoplay A8, beomaster 900 RG de luxe and the collection continues...
Rent a car or drive twice. I would never take that chance with a BV7-55.
I did transport a BV7-32 face down last summer. I loaded quite much on top of it (I was mainly after the BL7.1), but I have no idea of the weight. But I would say it could support the weight of Pentas, evenly distributed.
"You think we can slap some oak on this thing?"

I have done it with a beolab 10 on it without any issue.
A 4 mm glass with alumium structure under all around, should be able to support at least 50 kgs.
Of course not directly in contact and the charge should be longer than the tv.
Face down it is far more risky as the glass support the weight of the tv.
The bv 7 55 weight already 75 kgs ! So it is not reasonable.
Let's imagine b&o doesn't tell clearly that is not possible to transport a bv 7 face down. that means at least the front glass is able to support is own weight. that is certainly the limit

Never say never but I would never transport a flat panel face down, front or back. Break probability much higher than if transport on its edge, protected in all corners. I learned that the hard way, twice, as if once shouldn't have been enough.
I have done it twice with two bv 7 55 without any issue, of course with a lot of protection under the side and above the front.
I should be lucky.
sure, on the edge is the better solution but I can't do it.
I will let you know at least with a pair of bl8000 (without base), a beolab 7.2, a beolab 3500.
I won't charge more.
