Difference between beosound core and Playmaker

Dear all,

Besides the sportify or TuneIn ect - such functions, what' s the real difference between the beosound core and Playmaker? They have different airplay sound quality (or bluetooth sound quality)?

The playmaker is airplay only.

 

The core will do airplay, airplay 2 (soon), Bluetooth, and B&O multiroom.

BV11-46, Beolab 3, Beoplay A1, A9, H3ANC, H8, H9i

The PM does not integrate in to a NL multiroom, the core does

The PM is white, the Core is black, so the decision is black and white :-)

The PM takes a while to start up 

The Core is high res, the PM is not (different sound quality) 

The shapes are different, the placement options are more
