ARCHIVED FORUM -- March 2012 to February 2022READ ONLY FORUM
This is the second Archived Forum which was active between 1st March 2012 and 23rd February 2022
I know this has been on the forums before but I'm at a loss.
Put in new battery, ensuring everything is correctly mounted.
Switch on and code is in the display
Press RADIO 1 2 7 1 switch off after a few seconds. switch on after a few seconds, but code still comes up.
Tried it with two different beolink 1000 remotes.
What is going on and how can I get it to work?
Someone here said that setting to Option one with SOUND 1 STORE worked even in CODE-mode, and was required to get it to pay attention to the IR remote commands, including the CODE.
Try this:
- Unplug the BC9500
- Press RADIO on the Beolink, just to get it into RADIO 'mode' (whilst the BC9500 is unplugged).
- Plug in the BC9500, and immediately after CoDE appears press 1 2 7 1 on the remote.**
- You may get some lights on the indicator panels whilst entering the code, but when they go out, unplug the unit, wait a few seconds and then reconnect.
(** EDIT: You may have to also press PLAY immediately after 1 2 7 1)
Thanks to Beotrack, its fixed. I pressed sound 1 store then radio 1271 and it worked. I'm very grateful for this.
