Hi,

I have purchased a set of Beolab 2500 type 6201 serial 10690026 where the LED stays green indicating power on. They work fine except for not switching the power of, it's always on.

I opened the case to find that there is no relay for the switching in the designed space for the relay. The bypass wiring however seems professional, certainly not a quick fix.

My question is: Is there an original version without the power switching like mine or is it likely to be added/changed later?

Most likely changed later. Makes no sense to create a version that does not go into std.by. I have never seen a pair that does not switch off.
