greetings again from tulsa!!

tonight i brought home the beomaster 2400 i've mentioned earlier and some rl 60.2 speakers. holy cow!! i know these aren't anywhere near top of the line stuff you guys are used to, but right now as they are playing a cd through a sansui reciever (from '73) they are totally awesome and will make a great bedroom pair of speakers.   under a heavy bass load one of them has a little rattle, but at normal listening they're fantastic!!

listening to the 2400 with headphones (i still haven't managed to procure speaker plugs) it's spectacular as well. the only detractors i can see is that the bass, treble and balance led's don't light up. the volume does but the others don't. they work of course but that doesn't kill me.     are those easy to fix?

i'll be updating over the weekend and as always appreciate y'alls input!

Beomaster 2400, a true classic, and well worth restoring to its full glory, lights and all. One thing you'll find about B&O speakers, no matter the cost or complexity, all sound "musical." Even the least expensive ones have always done as well as can be done for the design limitations size or cost placed on them, and have been tuned/voiced to be rewarding to listen to. Some are higher performance than others of course, but to my ears and in my experience, all sounded musical and were pleasant to listen to.

Currently, I listen to Beolab 9s in my living room, Beolab 8000s in my dining/sunroom area, and a Beolab 2000 link room speaker in my bedroom. I enjoy all of them.

I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus. Sad
