Dear All,
I want to embark into the B&O Journey, going the vintage way - wanting to acquire a Beogram 1000, a Beomaster 1000 and a (ideally visually matching) pair of speakers of the Beovox 1000-3000 speakers or later/bigger (like M series, but not huge).
I prefer a warm sound with stronger base for listening to classical piano concerts, opera, jazz, older pop/soul, etc. What later B&O speakers are still compatible with the Beomaster 1000? Which one has a good base (including from the 1000-3000 range)?
Unfortunately I cannot hear any of these devices live - except on YouTube through bad mobile phone microphones.
Thank you for any advice,
Cris
Beomaster 1000 will work with any of the passive speaker range but Beovox 500 to Beovox Penta. To stay vintage I would suggest one of the 1960s versions of Beovox 3000 or Beovox 5000 (mk III is best).Beovox 1000 is a fair speaker in its own right, sounding surprisingly pleasant without being HiFi.
