BEOGRAM 2404 Ground Lead DIN to receiver issue

I have a BEOGRAM 2404 with a B+O DIN to RCA adapter connected to a Pioneer SX-737 receiver. 

On start-up I am losing left channel sound until I change the B+O ground lead position on the Pioneer receiver ground stem then everything works great. 

Is this a B+O issue from the DIN to the turntable, or receiver issue?

This happens with my original DIN adapter and a new DIN to RCA adapter.

Any recommendations?
