Hi All

I have just switched from a BT landline to Sky Talk and I am no longer able to make calls via the phonebook or return calls via caller ID without receiving the message that the number does not exist.  I have managed to establish that if I press the call button then manually type the number it works but if I auto dial it doesn't unless I add a dummy digit at the front.  I never had any issues with BT so can only believe the issue is a setting with Sky Talk.

Just wondered if anyone else had experienced this issue and resolved as Sky seem to be struggling with it.  For reference I have a Beoline 2 with 3 x Beocom 6000 Mk Ii's and 4 x Beocom 2 Mk II's connected.

Many thanks

James

Go to the dealer with your BeoLine. There is special software available to solve this problemSmile. The numbers get to quick to the modem. It can't handle the speed of the BeoLine.

After the software update you are able to hear that it calls much slower.

Hi

I just wanted to update on my post even though it's been several years.  I finally switched back to BT and everything is working fine so be aware if you switch to Sky!

Many thanks
