Beogram CDX2

Hi

More help needed! The lid on my recently accquired CDX2 won't lift unless I help it with my fingers.

Is there any adjustment? (I've got the CDX service manual but the CDX2 is quite diferent).

If you can hear the motor running and you can feel it actually tries to lift the lid, but can't, it's because the belt is slipping.
I can supply a new belt.

I hcan you help??ave the same problem too...and the CD platter is only lifting a little now....is it the same belt or another...either way I need help...
