Okay here goes nothing... firstly I am technically useless so pls take it easy on me...So my HM aka house-mate has 3 of these b&o TVs all looking totally different in size, shape (I maybe a technophobe but I can spot the difference lol) anyways... one of the TVs the Avanti 32 dvd I’m told has not been used for a few years. But I am allowed to use it...whoo-who!!! So It comes on but no channels show, my said HM said they tried to programme but it came up blank when they did auto search so they gave up?!? I wanted to set tv up to a PlayStation 4 but have noooooo idea how to do this (The PlayStation is obviously not for me that would just melt my brain lol) so if any of you wonderful techy folks could assist as to where to start that would be amazing as my HM says they are a tech-head but obviously not!! Simplton speak only if you could... yes I really am that bad!! Please help to save me from having a hernia by attempting to lift this big Mofo... Cheers I live in hope

Hi Kooks,

maybe this will save you:

I guess, the Playsy’ has only a hdmi-out.

Use a HDMI to COMPOSITE - Converter (available in any place where you can buy TV‘s or, e-bay).

Put the hdmi-cable from the Playsy into the hdmi-in of the converter; the converter‘s outputs (yellow-video, red-speaker right, white-peaker left).

The sound looses in this setup....you maybe have a noise in the background of the sound.

To keep the soundquality like in the original xondition from the BV-Avant, look out for a converter that splittes the hdmi-signal (ask the service-staff in the store for that).

Hook the converter in the CAMERA-IN- chinchfield (you find these at the top-right behind the red display, maybe the three chinch-sockets are covered).

On the beo4 remotecontrol push the LIST-button until CAMERA apperars in the beo4’s display and ress GO (the round button in the center of the Arrow-buttons).

Good luck... and have fun.

Wohnzimmer: Beovision 4-42 auf umgebautem Gehäuse von BV Avant 28 & Beosystem 2, 3x Beolink Passive 1656, Beolab 4000 (Front), BV Avant LS im Gehäuse (Center, an Beolink Passive), aus BV Avant 32 entnommene LS (rear, an BL Passive), zu subwoofern modifizierte Beovox S80-2 (nur Bässe d an BL Passive). LC2

Schlafzimmer: Beovision 8-32 und Beomaster 4500 (zusammen auf modifiziertem Stand von BV MX 4000) mit Masterlink-Konverter 1411, LC2

Bad: Beolab 3500
