Hello all,

I acquired a second hand DVD2 from Germany, just for playing dvds, and I would like to know if it is possible to change language and country in the menus.

Many thanks for your answers.

Marc

Yes it is - a fuller explanation is in the manual on the site, which is available to you as a gold member!

Thank you Guy.

Of course I had read all the chapiters of the French and English user manual but nowhere  I could see how to change the language when a previous language has already been selected.

Does anybody would know the trick ?

Have a look at the Service Manual - also available at the link above.

Page 4.13 'Built In Service Mode' explains how to put the DVD2 into so called 'Virgin Mode' - as delivered from the factory.

Basically it tells you to press button 'S3' at the back whilst connecting to the mains.

Hope it works!

Good evening Guy,

that's good now ! I was able to change language, country, screen format, ... l simply did not understand immediately, maybe my brain is aging. [:D ]  In fact it is necessary to push the S3 button at the same time of pluging the mains.

Thank you very much Guy, without you I would not had the idea to look at the service manual.

Have an happy Christmastime.

Marc
