I am sending you picture so you can see what cables i have from the wall

Hi Vibor,

Welcome to Beoworld!

Basically, you have four options if you change the TV for a non-B&O version:-

1) Connect two Beolab speakers to the headphone socket of the TV for stereo sound, with volume control from the TV remote, or

2) Connect the TV and all of the Beolab speakers to a Beosound music system (if you have one) for stereo sound through all speakers, with volume control from the B&O remote, or

3) Add an external AV receiver with pre-out sockets (expect to pay from around £500 GBP / €600 EUR / $750 USD) to allow all of the speakers to be connected for full surround sound with control from the receiver remote control.

4) Add a pre-owned Beosystem 3 or 4 to allow all of the speakers to be connected for full surround sound with control from the B&O remote control.

If you can please let me know your preferred option, I will be pleased to advise on the cabling required.

Kind regards, Steve.

Steve.

Thank you Steve for answering.

i have questions if you would be kind to answer.

1) why not all 4 speakers with some adapters or something like that

Is it better to buy pre-owned  Beosystem 3 or new receiver in your opinion.

My new tv is lg oled (sending picture from back).

Hi Vibor,

Yes, you could connect four speakers to the TV headphone socket if you wish, you will just get stereo sound.

Connecting via a Beosound music system or Beosystem 3 will let you use your existing Powerlink wiring and B&O remote control.  Changing to a non-B&O receiver will work well, but you may need to change the cables and you will need to use the receiver remote instead.

Kind regards, Steve.

That is exactly my setup. My Beolab active speakers are connected to the headphone output, to be able to control volume from the remote control handset. With Steve’s cables Smile
