For some reason most of the cover arts are not shown anymore on my BS5

All my music is stored on a Synology and all music files have the correct cover art (resolution max 500x500) plus mp3 tags.

I am using the latest version of DSM and Media Server.

The profile of my BS5 device is set to "Default Profile with original cover" under Control Panel > Media Server > > "DMA Compatibility" > Device list.

I have relaunch the scan from the Media Server, but stil after a couple of days only a few covers show up on my BS5.

Does anybody know a solution to this problem?

Does the BS5 show a picture with the B&o logo or do you see🎵

Most of the numbers show a B&O cover art logo.

wv02447:
Most of the numbers show a B&O cover art logo.

B&o logo means something went wrong with the BS5. With the other logo it is a server issue.

Set the BS5 up as if it has no music files storage connected to it ("none"). Wait till everything has been processed. Than reinstall your server.

I have tried your suggestion my BS5 needed a couple of days to index all my music files (in total 100.000 files), but still only very few covers are shown and for 99% of my music files it shows the B&O logo as a cover.

All suggestions for a solution to this problem are welcome.

Use bliss music tagger. Will ensure proper size art and imbeds it for all tracks and albums.

Never an issue with cover art on my BS 5.

true (up to 1000x1000 no problem)

But didn't the system first run properly with pictures?

other tag programs MP3tag and/or EZ Meta tag editor.
