How do I hook up my 9000 to a Denon avrx3400?
Also need to hook up my beolab 8000's to the pre-out from the Denon but not having success
Hi robertdp,
Welcome to Beoworld! I have also replied to your direct message, so please check your Inbox!
If you have the Denon AV-RX3400 receiver, Beosound 9000 and 2 x Beolab 8000 speakers in the same room, the first thing to decide is whether to connect the speakers to the 9000 or to the receiver. Linking them to the 9000 makes for easier control, but only gives stereo sound. Linking them to the receiver allows you to add more speakers in the future for surround sound. Either way, the other device can then share the speakers as required.
Please let me know your preference and I can help you to get everything connected.
Kind regards, Steve.

Hey Steve I also have a BS 9000 was also thinking about hooking BL 8000's to my Yamaha surround receiver can i do this?
Hi wokbelly,
If you just have the two speakers in the room, then linking them to the Beosound will give the best control. However, if you have other speakers as well, then connecting them to the Yamaha receiver will allow them to work together for surround sound.
