Hi

just picked up a set of these cool tweeters

BeoVox 2500 "Cube" Tweeters

They are supposed to connect to beovox 3000/5000, and rely on that speakers crossover.

I´m running another set of speakers, and want to create an external crossover, to filter out low frequencies.

What surprises me, is that there is a nonpolar 8uf cap inside the tweeter already?

This will be swapped out for a fresh one, of course. But how do I calculate a value for an external crossover, with 8 uf already built in?

Preferably I would like an external unit with an l-pad to dial in the correct tweeter volume, to match my main speakers
