just a quick help issue, can anyone clear up if the early Beolink 10000 audio terminal can work on a Beosystem 6500? Do I need to press keys in a certain order? Thanks in advance
Yes, a Beolink 1000 will drive a Beosystem 6500. (Early or late, I don't believe it matters.) There is no concept of "order" in key pressing: you press the source -- RADIO, TAPE, CD, PHONO -- to turn the Beomaster on. (Yes, there exceptions like SHIFT, then TAPE does TAPE.2.) Obviously the volume controls and number keys only work *after* the system is on and playing, but this is order of operations, not multi-key-pressing.
