following set-up:
Pentas as front, Beolab 4000 rear, Beolab 2 sub, Beosystem 7000 masterlinked to old Avant CRT via 1611. All speakers connected to surround module of the Avant.
Would it be possible to connect the Beomaster 7000 to Pentas directly rather than to the 1611? Thus, I could only listen to Pentas when playing music through the Beomaster. At the same time, I'd link Pentas to the surround module of the Avant such that I can use all speakers for surround sound in video mode.
In other words, in such a set-up I will have two sources connected to one pair of Pentas and avoid the operation conflict by linking resources via the 1611 converter just without the powerlink connection. Beovision would still be in option 2 and the Beomaster in option 0.
Will this work?
