Hi,
Speakers: You can get a Y-splitter powerlink cable. You'll need 2 powerlink cables. You can use the Y-splitter in the socket unit or at one of the speakers. Depends on placement/preference. The cable contains both left/right audio. Set the switch on the speaker to either L or R. Connect a mains cable to each speaker. You don't need to connect phono cables.
BeoCenter: You need a socket unit cable.
Be aware the system might be PIN code protected. Without pincode you cannot use the BeoCenter 2. You can get a master code via Bang & Olufsen, but it will require that you have prove of purchase (invoice copy).
You can get cables from sounds heavenly.

Hi Ravsted, thanks very much for your response! This is very useful.
Do you have any idea where I might be able to get the socket unit-to-master unit cable? I've found only one on eBay and it was over in the USA and cost nearly £200.
Also, you're right that it is indeed pincode protected. However I know my relative wrote down the pin somewhere so it's just a matter of finding it!
Thanks and best wishes
I don't know where you live ... But since you mention the £ currency I assume in the UK.
Sounds heavenly might have the cable ...
Any Bang Olufsen store....
Google is suggesting this store:

Sorry, yes, I'm in the UK.
I emailed Steve at Sounds Heavenly and sadly he didn't have the cable, but that link looks promising, thanks!
Best wishes
