Quick question. I use my original Beosound 1 (CD Tuner version - Image Below) in a manual mode (From the buttons on the system). I will soon be moving this to a less accessible zone and will require a Beo4 Remote.

I've seen a used remote online - good condition, unsure of the version - but can anyone advise me if I can switch into "AUX" mode with the below Beo4 Remote?

As per the manual it says Beo4 can switch into "AUX" by clickling the "A Tape" button on the remote. The remote I am going to buy does not even have this button. Can another button control this? Please confirm. Thanks in advance!

The Beo4 in your picture is a hotel version.

Get yourself a proper version - plenty of them out there.

Note: the A.Tape and A.Mem buttons do the same. So you can’t really go wrong.

@MM: How do you recognize that it is a hotel version?

I have the same to control my Ouverture and I have added the A.AUX to the List buttons to control its AUX port

On the same topic, does someone know how to configure the Beo4 (and which model is the more suitable) to control the Moment? I accidentally discovered (I'm a real beginner in the legacy B&O world) that while the Moment is up, the Beo4 can control its radio without any particular setup and can also put all product in standby mode, so I guess I can get more out of the Beo4 with some programming?

Just look at the picture - there is no List button there.

As for ir-remote controlling of the Moment have a look here:

Any (regular) Beo4 will do - even a BeoLink 1000 would be ok.

However, I’d recommend the BeoRemote One - the first - ir-only - version will be fine.

It’s possible to access e.g. PatternPlay with that and to use the MyButtons too.

Any of these Beo4 versions would do what you require! Big Smile

Thanks guys. Wealth of knowledge. No wonder it was so cheap.

I ordered a  Logitech Harmony universal control to try and unfy my devices. While I hunt for a Beo4 will try that and post feedback.

BTW. Does the Beosound 1 CD Tuner have sound settings or bass or treble controls? Need to know if I should get ithe Beo4 remote just forthat .If available?!
