Hi, sorry its been a long time since i used the forum.

I have an issue with one of my Beomaster 6500's.  For years it has worked perfect, and has always been on standby... but for the last 2 months it has been unplugged from mains power.

Last night when i went to use it , it keeps turning off after maybe 10 seconds, sometime longer sometimes shorter.  After a few on/off cycles the fan starts to come on.

It has done this before but like over 6 years ago .So not sure what the issue is.... Always has been a good servant .

I am not very good with electrical components so go easy with any help.!

Thanks Sandy

Beosystem 6500.

Ouverture,

Beosound 8.

This sounds like the current adjustment pots may have drifted, causing the protection circuit to trigger. Dillen can provide replacement parts, or you can take in for service.
