Hi, i just bought a beolab 3500 and a beolink 1000 remote, with no menu button, and i saw that pressing shift + text would start the menu but it doesnt. Can someone help me please
Hi and welcome to the forum.
The Beolab 3500 is a speaker, a linkroom speaker intended to play what can be played on a Beosound (of some kind e.g. a BS9000) when it is connected through Masterlink.
There really is no menu to access - apart from a service menu, which is another subject.
You access the sources of the main audio system by pushing Radio, CD or alike - it has no sources of its own.
How are you hoping to use the BL3500 - for what?

There is a tv - and there is a BV
Hi, thanks for the reply.
I dont have any B&O device, but i saw online that it can be connected to a ipod for example, with a 7 pin cable to mini jack ( that i have ), and then using a beolink 1000 remote ( i bought one ) you should press menu 0 4 go, to go to MCL mode. On the mk1 remotes that dont have the menu button, you should be able to reach menu pressing shift+text, but im not able to do that when i press it. I press shift text and nothing happens

Just to be sure, to get MENU you need to press SHIFT then TEXT, not both at the same time.
Thak you so much Guy. I got it.
