UHD Source for 55” Avant MK1

I have my Avant currently connected to satellite using the internal tuner. This is limited to HD material.

Unfortunately my internet connection is currently limited to 6 Mbits/s so streaming 4k is not viable.

I have read about issues which have only come to light using 4k sources. They were serious issues that needed a repair. As my TV is still under warranty I would like to confirm that my set does not have any issues.

As the planned upgrade to fiber has been set back again, I am thinking of installing a UHD sat receiver.

Does anyone have any experience with these?

Any recommendations or tips?
