I have a BeoGram 2000 since the 80's, but in the last two decades was disconnected, in my parents Livingroom, clean os dust but no-one used it.I recovered it to my Livingroom and to connect to a Denon AVR, the stylus is in very good condition, was changed a couple of years prior to be inactivated, ad I have a spare one packed and sealed. The belt was a bit "loose" and i bought a new one and made some lubrification under the plate with Teflon Lubricant spray.
Now i want to dive in and clean the inside with some EPA e lubricate the plastic gears, and more important make a speed adjust, i think I touched the speed nob when carrying it.
Any tips for the speed adjust and how to protect the arm and plate when I'll turn the BeoGram upside down?
Ok, I've managed to make all the maintenance, cleaning and lubrification.
Now I'm stuck, I using a strobe disc (50hz I'm in Europe) to tune the speed, but with the potentiometer at full the 45rpm gets perfect, but the 33 1/3 is slightly slow, how can I surpass this problem?
