Beocenter 2300 doors humming sound

Hi everyone,

I searched the forum but didn’t find what I was looking for. If the below is an obvious thing and the solution a no brainer, then I apologize upfront.

Doors to my BC2300 won’t close sometimes. Humming sound (motor) can be heard as if it is trying.

Would like to fix / have it fixed.

Any ideas?

Hi,

First thing first: clean and lubricate the rails.
Clean with alcohol, lubricate with silicone.

If it dont fix it, may be loose belt (easy fix on the forum) or door misalignment (fix on the forum too but need complete dismantling).
