Chaps & Chapesses,

I need to (partly) disassemble a Beotime which has two faulty displays. Using the manual, I've been able to remove the first display housing, but I can't see how to free the flexible PCB which connects the display to the mainboard. Can anyone shed some light on this, please?

Also, does anyone have a couple of Beotime LCD displays for sale:)

If it helps, here is a picture of the display with cable after removal.

I’ve only done this once about a year ago and the device was token that had my photos of process and I can’t remember exactly. I remember being unsure at first also of how and what I was removing but it was easy once I figured it out. If you take some pictures of the display lifted it might trigger my memory if no-one else chimes in.

That's terrific - thank you. I could see from your photos that it uses the same kind of header as the inside of a mobile phone. It therefore needed to be pulled evenly and came out nicely. I was worried about pulling too hard in case it damaged the main board.

Now all I need are two new displays!
