Hi beoworld.

I am extremely new to Bang and Olufsen products and hifi in general. The title says most of it, but basically I bought an old Beosystem 3300 from an elderly couple. There is a bunch of problems, but the one I need help with now is the tonearm. It wont move. None of the commands work besides the ones controlling the diffrent speeds. The tonearm seems frozen in place, but with quite a bit of force, I could move it, but it had a clicking noise to it. I tried opening it up but when I moved the tonearm to the middle nothing happened. below are the pictures of it:

Another issue I had with the turntable was that when i connected it to a poweroutlet, the platter would just automatically spin. I am able to control the speed, but not able to stop it.

Any advice?

The mechanics are out of sync because something hasn't been put together correctly or
something drastic happened in transport.

Don't force anything!
