Hi all,

my V1 has developed a fault with it not responding to IR commands, it can be controlled via the app, so looking at old threads guess this is the same problem a lot of people have had which cost £700 to fix.

my question is if I connect a ML/NL converter with an ir would i be able to control the TVs through ir using my  Beo4? I do have a BLGW as well.

unfortuntly I can get to the set to try this at the moment.

hope someone has any idea?

Thanks

Toby

I don't believe that you can. I tried doing this with my BeoVision 10 -- since the IR receiver is so low on the BV10 that I wanted an IR receiver more accessible from my bed. It didn't work. However, you CAN send LIGHT/CONTROL commands.

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for getting back to me (thought I had responded earlier).

I tried playing with the converter and the V1 andI can not get it to send TV commands via the converter.

I had found a work around this and that was to buy a BV11!

Thanks

Toby
