Beolit 12 and Airplay issues

Hi All,

I have been using my Beolit 12 with Airplay with my iPhone 6s,and iTunes from my Mac for years, It's not always stable, but it has been working ok. Also with Airfoil (Rouge Amoeba) it has been working fine to stream fx. Spotify as a multiroom solution combining Beolit 12 and the rest of my kit connected with Apple TV's and Airport Express around the house.

 Now, after upgrading my iPhone 6s to IOS11.4.1, its almost impossible to connect to the Beolit via Airplay through Wifi. If I first connect the Beolit 12 to an ethernet cable, it will connect to Airplay and stay connected also through Wifi when I unplug the ethernet cable, but it will not find the Beolit directly via Wifi.

I understand Beolit 12 will not be Airplay 2 compatible, but surely Airplay 2 would be able to connect to older Airplay devices without multiroom capacity?. I can imagine there will be an update to Airport Express and Airport Time Capsule that I am using, and maybe that will resolve this, but my question is:

- Are there others having this issue and perhaps found a resolution to this issue?

- Are there any software updates to Beolit 12 at all? The most recent I could find when using the BeoSetup app is from 2012..

Any ideas are welcome! :)

At this moment I hear music from iPhone to my beolit 12. through AirPlay. No problem. iPhone has latest software. Also my iPad, iMac and Apple TV. No problems at all.

I have the BeoLit 12 as well, but relatively few airplay issues. Some of the usual dropping out issues on occasion, but mostly works. I contacted B&O about firmware. The last update was 2012...yup, really! So as you likely have the latest version, your best bet is a full reset, and then re-do pairing and hope for the best. And yes, I can connect Airplay2 device iPhone SE on latest iOS to Beolit 12, even though AirPlay 2 isnt fully functional.

Anyway, try to re-set, re-pair and see how it goes.
