i recently replaced the belt to lift the glass, and now I’m trying to put the CD housing transport back in place and am having a heck of a time. I found the service manual, but no info on how to put things back in place.
Any help at all would be great. Maybe if there is a trick or a certain sequence to follow would be great. Even pictures someone may have would be great.
Heck if someone has been in my position and has done this before and is willing to call me maybe that would help. I’m at a total loss.
Hi, which parts you don’t get back in place?
if you only replaced the belt for the lid, the cd transport find its position itself when the Beosound 9000 is plugged in.
Here’s what I did. I pulled the aluminum part that holds the cd transport to get to the front screw on the motor drive for the glass.
Here is my issue
the two cables that attach to the cd laser came off. So my issue is how to keep them on or in place when I go to put the aluminum part back down.
Is there a trick to keeping the cables on the cd transport? Maybe there’s a way to put things back in place in a specific order or a special way to do it. I hope I’m making sense?
I can send you pics if that helps to see what I’m dealing with if that helps? Like the old saying goes a picture is worth a thousand words lol
Yes, pictures will help.
At the moment I don‘t really know what you mean.
so picture will help a lot.
Darn it all I tried to upload some images but for what ever reason this site doesn’t like my jpegs. If you’ll give me you email I’ll send you the pics I have?
