Heads up on classyalexandra

This is a first for me to name and shame someone!! I do hope they are members of this forum.

  I sold the ebay member 'classyalexandra' an ir blaster cable for £12.99 with free p&p. The item was sent recorded as always, delivered and signed for. For some reason the buyer Alexandra Barre decided to claim that the cable had not been delivered. On pointing out that proof of delivery and signature was on the Royal Mail website I heard nothing more. Well that was until a week or so later when they decided to leave poor feedback and hammer my star ratings.

  It has taken 10 years of hard work with just short of 1100 feedbacks at 100% and 5 stars on all aspects of selling. Then a couple of seconds for one person to ruin that reputation.

  I wrote to 'un-classyalexandra' to appeal to their sense of fair play to remove the feedback, not to my surprise they did not reply nor remove the feedback.

  Nor did ebay see fit to assist me in this matter, again no surprise!!

  They are course now on my blocked bidder list and my advice is for you to also block them.

I had a similar issue where a package was severely damaged in shipment - like a large metal rod was shoved through the box! I processed the insurance claim for the buyer, but they still gave me negative feedback. They agreed it could not have been my fault but they "received it damaged" anyway. The only good news is the negative feedback drops off in time.

Why are these people so spiteful?? If the same happened to them they would go nuts!!!

  I know feedback drops after time but I am a business seller and any poor comments are reflected, after 10 years of good it really leaves a sour taste!!!
