Beosound moment

If anyone is thinking of buying a beosound moment avoid it like the plague, after buying mine from a uk b and o store second hand. Three months later the screen crashed and i had to have it replace at my cost over 400 pounds. Now 5 months later the screen is locked with the bang and olufsen logo showing, but no possible way, even taking the back panel off, to get into the system. For me my time with this piece of equipment and the issue of this system failing twice in one year, has almost put off this brand for life. I cant get no support from no one. I even wentto the shop today in valencia which was supposed to be open at 10.30 am low and behold it was closed. I waited around for an hour just in case nope. Close bars down not even a note on the door when the shop was supposed to be open, such a high clash brand I switching to sonos.

So if your thinking of buying one dont....

Didn’t you get it fixed under warranty the second time? There is a problem with the tablets, had mine fixed and crashed again within 6months, after which the dealer replaced mine for a whole new one. To be clear, I paid €500 for first repair and after 6 months free replacement under warranty.

Tried sending emails to the shop, went there today and can you believe it shut on a Saturday. Im going back on Monday if it gets fixed im selling it.

If you’re in the EU you should have a 5 year warranty. You should not be paying to have it repaired.

Oops. Didn’t see that it was second hand. I guess the 5 year rule doesn’t apply then.

Noticed sonething strange. The beosound moment is showing up on the ipad wifi as a router.
