I live in Walsall West Midlands and I need someone who is experienced in repairing these vintage equipment as I have got a door problem, they will not open or close but they are trying to in so much as when I wave my hand the sensor is trying to work so I suspect its a belt (if they have one) or a wiring fault - I thought maybe the doors were loose so unclipped them and clipped them back on but have discovered that one of the clips/fittings for the doors which is on the actual machine (not the door itself) slides up and down too easily (for my liking) hence thinking a wire or the belt (if applicable) has snapped for it to slide too freely as seems unattached to anything. As my knowledge extends to what I have read in the manuals, found on youTube and mmm common sense or I could be putting 2 and 2 together and making 5.
Can anyone help with advise, work I will pay for
Hi,
Beosound 3200 is absolutely not a "vintage" product to me! A discontinued one for sure but a Vintage, you're hard!
Well, about the doors I would say (after checking the wire path is OK):
- First: try clean and silicon lubricate the rails. If it don't work…- Second: Check and change the belt. If it don't work…- Third: check door alignement.
Phewwww "3200", "vintage"… You make my day
Cheers.
