Hi All

I forgot my log in details when I moved house (lost the paper I scribbled it on - duh!)

The forum has been a great help over the years. Currently have a nice overture/8000 and tx2 setup which I'm happy with.

Has anyone tried connecting the 8000 via bluetooth? did it work and what did it sound like ?

Just that the new house isn't good for running cables sadly

Cheers

Hi and welcome back!

I would go for a B&O Transmitter 1 + 2 x B&O Receiver 1 for Wireless PL.

Setup would be something like:

Overture -> PL (DIN/RJ45) -> TR 1 -> Wireless (WISA) -> RCV1 -> RJ45/DIN -> BL 8000 (x 2)

Maybe expensive, but It is scalable as it enables you to connect other B&O and/or non-B&O products on top of your Overture, including the most recent ones.

I'm using this setup:  Core + BS Moment + Overture connected to the TR1 which sends the music stream to 2 x BL 18, 1 x BL 19 and 2 x BL 8000 connected via RCV 1

BS Moment, BS Core, BG 4002, BC 4500, BS1, BL18, BL19, BL8000 + RCV1, A6, M5, M3, A1, P6 (tks Botty), H5, TR1

Thanks for that - was hoping for an inexpensive option as I see loads of bluetooth transmitters , but I'll look into that at a dealers and see what they have available
