Beosound 8 problem

Hi :)

I  have some problem with my beosound 8

The unit doesn't work but not as well as it should.

I fixed the apple 30 pin connector because some of the pins were broken - bad contact on the small pcb.
If I play apple iphone 4s on my Beoplay 8, then the light turns green. On Beosound 8, however, it lights up red or. more like an orange.
It is constantly lit - it does not blink.
Pressing the power button lights up green for only a second and than back to red-orange.

Beosound 8 charges iphone 4s normally and plays music.
As I found in the instructions, that the green light should be on.
The green light also lights up if I play audio through AUX as it should.

Does the unit need to be reset?
Does anyone have a similar problem?

Anyone have spare 30 pin docking for Beosound 8 to sell ?

I have white unit.

If you heve Black or White no problem ...just need internal part of docking.
