Is there a way to connect an audio only input to a Beovision 9 that I can select without the screen coming on?
I want to add a Sonos connect so could use either the SPDIF or the analogue connections on either of the spare A/V inputs I have (av1 and av6)  however in the connections programming it looks like the only options will bring the screen on as well.

I don’t have an audio master connected via masterlink or I could have connected via the aux input there.

Am I missing something obvious Or am I stuck with having the screen on all the time I’m listening to audio?

Thanks,

Adrian.

Hi Adrian,

You could connect the Sonos device as you suggest, and assign it to a video source that has a physical button in your remote.

Press “AV” before pressing the configured source button.

That would normally send the sound from the “video” source to the connected B&O music system, but since you don’t have one connected, it should turn on the BV9 with speakers muted.

You might need to set the TV option to “2”, but try it as is first.
