a late merry Christmas to all,

I am having a frustrating ongoing Moment and NAS issue(s). I have more than 5000 albums on a large NAS and I can here tracks that are on the NAS via my iMac. However, many tracks I can see on the Moment display such as the album image, name of track, but  wont play song— the name of track is there but much lighter image (like graying out text and pulsates) I have tried to rebuild the entire Lbrary and same issues—the same tracks will not play, but image of albums and name of track is visible.

Any suggestions welcome. The 3 years I have had the Moment and connected to Beolab 5 have been a huge disappointment. The Moment IMHO is a flakey product. I am connected via network and it continually says wifi weak (but I am not using wifi).

I spent the money for the  lovely aluminum pedestal but I just can’t seem to get it work work properly.

many thanks

ed

I guess your were able to play them before? What DLNA server are you using on your NAS and are you able to play these tracks using the DLNA user interface for example?

Hi

i can log into my Synology NAS and play individual tracks on my iMac but the Moment won’t play a number of tracks (which I know are there). I thought rebuilding the DNLA would fix it, but it did not. Any suggestions welcome.

thanks

Can you describe please?

From your iMac are you browsing the NAS shared drive hosting your music and play it from the Finder to demonstrate that the file is playable, or, are you using a third party DLNA client on your iMac or are you using Synology Autio Station?

btw, which DLNA server are you using on your Synology?

If you cannot see these tracks with a DLNA client such the B&O App against your DLNA server, then the Moment may not see it either and you'll have to investigate on the DLNA server side.

If you can see these tracks with a DLNA client such the B&O App against your DLNA server, and that you can play them on your Moment from the B&O App, then you are facing a Moment DLNA harvesting issue, probably the one IA64 is chasing.

If you see the tracks on the Moment but are not able to play them, then you may face a file codec issue.
