I got myself a pair of Beovox M100-2 last year where I should start the restoration anytime soon.
Unfortunately, like many, the filler drivers foam surround failed and they were replaced with similar size Peerless modern drivers.
I want to bring them back as close to factory to keep their original sound signature, if possible.
Many many months later, I was able to find similar to the originals; the KU45MR which are the paper dipped surrounds instead of the KU45MRF which are, of course, the foam surrounds.
I'm wondering if I replace the paper to foam surrounds, I will end to the same driver as the originals was?
My other option would be to use the KO40MRF, within the same family, to obtain a closer match?
Looking forward to your answers.
Thank you!
