BeoSound5 Update

Does anyone know if the BS5|BM5 was updated within the last couple of months?  

When was the last update?

I don’t remember reading anyone mentioning that it has been updated. I think it’s been quite a while.

I looked on the support site for you and i can’t see a mention of the update, but I did find the link for supporting software if you use BeoConnect / BeoPort etc.

Are you writing about the BS5 or the BS5 Encore?

I am asking in regards to the BeoSound5, not the Encore.  It’s actually in regards to something good.  It seems as though the BeoMaster5 analyzes the new music transferred to the HD much faster than in the past, almost as soon as it is completely transferred.  In the past it would take a while after the transfer was completed for the music analysis to occur. I really think B&O could have easily done with this system than was done to make it a truly superb product.  Even at this date and time. Improvements could still all be done with updates.  I’d be willing to spend more bucks on it if the updates made the product better.  It’s really shameful that more (through updates) isn’t done with it because even today it could still be an “up to date” music source.  There could be considerably more revenue to be made in this regards.  Seems like the product was just dropped before it should have been in hopes of creating something better which never really happened since then.
