Dear all, I have set up my besound moment with Twonky server on iMac and working for a while, recently the server stop responding and when I checked the server setting, it says error on server. I googled and tried resetting besound moment, reinstalled twonky app (mac), now when I click twonky server setting, the error message says Safari can't connect to the server "127.0.0.1:0"

Has everyone encounter similar issue before and any guidance to repair this? thanks guys.

Usually Twonky listens on port 9000. Try http://127.0.0.1:9000/webconfig

If you cannot reach it via the web interface, the Moment will have no luck reaching it too.

Have you change something in your iMac recently? O/S upgrade, Firewall software?

Thanks for your prompt assistance, I tried 9000 and it still wouldn’t connect.....

Regarding changes, the server stop responding with no reason and no changes at first, so I updated iMac to the lastest OS and reinstall Twonky app and this is where I stuck now. My question is when I first bought and set up moment and Twonky app, it did ask me for the activation key and relevant beginning set up when I launch the app, this time when I reinstalled the app, nothing at all, the app just launch by itself and can’t connect. Where can I delete the root file to fresh reinstall again? Thanks in advance.

The only version I have tested on a Mac is 8.5.1 which relies on a connection to a server for the license, but looking at the application packet, I see a CleanTwonkyServerData.command in the arborescence, maybe you have the same, have a look.

That said, Twonky is no longer supported, the only remaining useful information is the Twonky user forum (https://forum.twonky.com/viewforum.php?f=2).

If you only use Twonky as a DLNA server, and don't leverage it's Photo support to manage your own artist tile images on the Moment, then you could eventually switch to another DLNA server like Minimserver, free and efficient, while a little bit more techie

Thanks again for your prompt assistance, may I know where to check the version of my twonky app? it is the current download from B&O and could anyone guide me how to check cleantwonkyserverdata.command?

I read and heard Twonky is no longer supporting B&O, I am wondering if any other Moment users still working well with their iTunes/twonky app? thanks guys.

It is not about Twonky no longer supporting B&O but about Twonky application no longer being developed/supported.

You can find the version by right clicking on the app file in your finder and look for more information, version number should be identifiable in the panel.

By right clicking the app icon you can also open the packet and look for the reset data command.
