Can any one tell me where I can acquire/purchase a replacement display pcb as mine has gone faulty and some of the display stays lit even in standby mode, regards

I would try disassembly and check the connectors to the front panel first - I remember reading about this fault elsewhere on the forum.

Thanks guy, I already tried that I also changed panel from my 5500 unit and it works fine it appears to be the pcb that is at fault

Hmmm I see.  Probably best to keep watching eBay for a complete BM6500 that has a fault elsewhere, although sometimes you see components individually from one that is broken for spares.
