They basicly bought the name/brand.....lets wait and see, if that can live up to what Loewe was in the yesteryears.

The TV shown in the article is so similar in design to the Beovision 11. Very unoriginal.

You're right (or maybe a BV 9). But it is difficult to make a "different" TV today, as most TV's (designwise) are just a piece of black glass with -or without a frame.
That's why B&O's Eclipse and Harmony are basically just LG panels mounted on a B&O "soundbar".

-but the Beovision 11 was a good-looking TV anyway - so people who like the design, and want a new tv, can now buy a Loewe Whistle

The TV displayed in the story is a model from maybe 7-8 years ago.

Just putting it out there..but I think the biggest threat to B&O...is...umm....B&O.

But I also remember reading many many people writing they would love a BV10/11/14 with a new OLED screen

This might fit that bill.
