My BV 7-32 is no longer required but I love the 7.1 quality and so would like to explore if it could be re-purposed as a general speaker. Is there a way I could add Bluetooth capability?

I'm no electrical engineer so if this is possible but only in the hands of experts then guidance along that path is welcome too.

cheers.

Hi Coolhurst,

Yes, this is possible - the simplest option is to add an external bluetooth receiver via this cable: https://soundsheavenly.com/line-in-connection/102-438-minijack-to-beolab-2-7-10-2500-powered-trigger-kit.html#/2-length-1m

In this configuration, the music source will control the speaker volume, but the speaker will remain on all the time that the trigger cable is connected and powered on.

Kind regards, Steve.

Steve.
