My Bang & Olufsen LC2 kan not be controled by my remote controler - i know that it works on my oder LC2 - how come that when i turn on the main swith the light is on and can't be turn off by the remote ?
Hi alls,
I've got an LC2 2131 which was working (I've used it for a couple of days).
After setting up a lot of things around to hide it in the lamp ceiling bell and connecting all together again, the LC2 refuses to work again. The fuse was blown and when I shorted it to check, the LC2 remains constantly on. No control by hand or by remote.
As there was a little noise inside I decide to open it. What I find was one of the little spring which hold the wires on the connectors which cam inside the device and was stuck between two parts making contact (in the picture between red and green dots). I removed the spring and tried it again without success.
No signs of burn on this side of the PCB, I haven't check the other side.
I've read various threads about repairing LC2's and they're all more or less needs to feed the LC2 with some voltage, check at another point, and/or replace/take out some components. I'm not skilled in that and dont have the tools needed (barely a multimeter and an amateurish soldering iron but not more).
So my question is: do the symptoms inspires someone for an easy fix or may it be a simple component know as very fragile and easy to burn which I can start with to try my luck?
Now all is set up around to install it it's a pity the LC2 burned
Thank you.
