Dear all,
I am new here at this forum. I have a question and hope somebody can help me out.
I want to fire a roller switch (shelly 2.5) from an virtual button.
The Http request work if i fire it directly from a web browser, it looks like this:
http://192.168.1.3/roller/0?go=open
Some how i can't get it working from the Custom HTTP Driver.
If i put the complete line in the Pol field it does communicate with the roller cosr every 60 seconds. so the command can be fired by the beoliving intelligence.
What would be the right syntax for the adress value with the put command in the resources setup?
Hope someone can help me out.
Thanks in advanced.
Hi nokhai,
You should configure the base URL for the Custom HTTP driver as the main IP, and configure the resources for performing the actions.
In your example, you can enter the following configuration:
Base URL: http://192.168.1.3
Add a resource of type POST, give it a meaningful name (e.g. "Open") and set the address as /roller/0?go=open
Best regards,
the Khimo team.-
Dear Khimo Team,
Thank you very much. I have tried it and it works perfect.
With this Custom HTTP command i am now able to control a shelly 2.5 device in roller mode.
So now beside the Shelly 4 the Beoliving Intelligence also can have the 2.5 in the list.
Is there also a way to execute custom strings based on CMD commands?
For example a WOL command for a PC which runs Kodi?
Thanks again. It is really great to see devices work with the Intelligence!.

There is actually a Custom Strings driver, which can send custom commands and receive custom events via TCP or 232.

Hi Khimo Team,
Thanks you for the reply. I will have a look into it and try out some things.
Is there nay development on new drivers with regards to Doorbells, alarm systems etc.
Beside the ones which are available currently in the Pro section of the external drivers?
regards.
Nokhai.
