Hi,
Long-time lurker here, posting for the first time.
Keen to acquire more Aluminium B&O goodies, eyeing a BeoCenter 2 to connect to my Connection Hub via the additional optical/analog line-in.
I only want to use it for AUDIO CDs, can I use the LINE OUT that seems to be coupled to the VIDEO part of the unit, or do I need to use the AUX OUT and somehow control the volume from BeoCenter 2 instead of the connection hub?
Is this a good choice for a standalone CD player? I like the looks of it and is smaller / less extravagant than the 9000. Thanks
Hi flatwhite,
Welcome to Beoworld (as a posting member!)
Yes, Beocenter 2 should work well here, you can link the Aux Out sockets to the 3.5mm analogue input of the Hub to give a fixed volume output that can be controlled from your TV remote, you just need a cable like this one:-
