I have a Beovision 7-40 and Beosound 3000 in my livingroom and a Beovision 6-22 in my bedroom.

They are masterlinked, and I can play the CD and radio from the livingroom in my bedroom.
I have also linked the picture with the standard aerial cable.

I have followed every manuals and changed modes on main tv and linked tv, but I can't get the bedroom tv to show dvd from the livingroom. Should this be possible? What can I have done wrong?

-Which MK BV7-40 you are talking about?

-And what DVD player? Built in?

- Do you have picture (and sound via aerial!) on other video sources?

- If not, did you set the modulator of the BV7-40 to ON?

- have you connected the aerial cable to LINK TV out on the BV7-40to TV in on the BV6-22?

- Have you tuned in the correct link frequency?

Lot of questions and maybe an answer..? :)

Thank you for reponse, I will try to give some answers.

-BeoVision 7-40 type 9361

-The built in DVD-player

-I have no other video sources now, but I had a function link with another 7-40 (9361) before I sold it.

-I have tried with the moduator on and off, manual say something about linkable producys an run with the modulator off.

- The aerial should be connected fro Link TV out to TV in. I will however check this to be sure, but I don't think it is possible to do this wrong, 'Famous last word' :-)

- The Link frequency are set to factory settings on both units 599MHz there should be no other signals on this frequency in Norway.

I remember when I tried to connect the other BeoVision 7-40, I tried everything and suddenly it worked. I hope there are a solution on this one too.

- Ok - your BV7-40 should be an MKII with red display, right?

- everytime when I hear "suddenly it worked" I think "cable...connection"...

- Do you have direct connection between the two BVs, or is an RF link amplifier inserted?

- Can you control the DVD-player from the link BV? Will the main BV be activated when you press DVD in the BV6 room?

- I`d play a DVD in the BV7 and activate the BV6 in TV mode. Now I`d search for TV channels (automatic search) -  the BV6 shouls now find the DVD picture and sound coming in from the arial.

Hope this helps

Stefan

It has the red display.

Direct connection with the aerial.

Can not control the DVD or the tv from the link, but if I press CD or RADIO it starts my BeoSound 3000.

I will try to search the channels later if it can find the DVD image

Thanks again

Hi Andreas

Try to Press LINK DVD on the BV6 remote, if that work it could be the source settings on the BV6 that´s Wrong

So maybe wrong option settings - take the ones suggested by Carolpa.

Maybe you have DVD source also assigned to your BV6 - in that case you must select LINK DVD as suggested by Søren.

You also have to press LINK TV, if you want the TV tuner of your BV7 activated on your BV6.

None of the options work on the BV6, I have tried LINK, LINK-AV and AV with DVD and TV.

If I press CD or Radio without any other options, it play directly at the BV6

Link between audiomaster and linkroom works, link between videomaster and linkroom  does not.

I`d check video option setting of your BV7, should be V.OPT 1 or 2.

Do you have speakers connected directly to your BS3000? if YES then BS3000 option 1 and BV7 option 1 ; if NO BS3000 option 0, BV7 option 2

Test: what happens when you give an AV-DVD command to the BS3000? And what when you send the AV-CD command to the BV7?

I think I tried both AV-DVD and AV-CD command, I get DVD-sound on the BS3000 and CD-Sound on the BV7. I will have to check it once more, not at the facilities until next week.
